Why do you thin onion prices have reached such a height. Is it just becasue the onion crop was spoilt. NO - the answer is a Big NO. inspite of the spoiling of crop the prices would be still low but the black marketers who want to profit in the crisis situation have stocked the onions in their stores so that they can further jack up the prices. The Indian government - if it really wants to stop inflation , it should crackdown on these fraudsters and black listing them.
